What can I ask for that's around £30, not some stupid piece of tat and something I don't own?I was going to ask for a new Chain, but apparently that's not 'a proper present' becasue it's too functional. Can't think of anything I really need, maybe some middleburn chainring bolts? What would you ask for given the criteria £30, Something nice to give me, but something usefull.

"If you insist on giving me a present I'd apreciate you giving £30 to the Restos du Coeur (or similar charity) and send me the receipt, you'll be happy, I'll be happy and someone will get to eat a good dinner this Christmas".Try it and see how the person reacts.

I've actually suggested some fibre lite stuff, you know those pointless Hope Resevoir Caps and things. The Schmolke Carbon fibre mug was something like £130!
