Mythbusters, genuinely high tech ISH, they get a few things wrong, but annoyingly american so loads of repeating themselves for the tiny brains.Only seen a few with Vic, he seems to be quite mad and fit in nicely I thought.
Liked Brainiac when it first aired but not much now, there's a spin-off too (isn't there??) with two presenters, that didn't seem too badProblem I have with Mythbusters is that they never accurately recreate the myth's they're trying to validate, ie if the 'correct' re-enactment doesn't give the expected results then, what the hell, let's add more explosives. They then have the cheek to say myth busted. No it isn't.
I dunno Sprokitt, I tend to think they do it the other way, if the 'accurate' reinactment doesn't work, they try and make it more hardcore to try and confirm the myth, rather than try and bust it.Entertaining either way IMO, some of the stuff they do is rather interesting!
Nick, ok, agreed and reading some of the results on their website does support that line of thought, just the episodes I watched implied the opposite. It's better than Hamster-less Brainiac even though some of the myths are too stupid to be believed but it's worth tuning in just to see Kari
He is a boy (we only found out on Monday though and if he'd been a girl she would still have been a mountain biker) and is 5lbs 9oz so there's every chance I could pop him in my camelback. Might try...
