The only thing worth watching on a Sunday evening. There's a thing about sharks on BBC1 for those of you who are scared of cars or Heartbeat for the girls and Dylan (too many RWD cars on TG for him).I wonder how long it'll be before Clarkson upsets John Courgette by racing through France in some outrageous supercar?

Evening Mike.I used to find Clarkson's use of language quite amusing and used top gear videos when I was teaching English. Then I started reading posts about Top Gear on STW and realized that everybody apart from Clarkson himself was taking what he said seriously and really think what he pretends to think. A dangerous man.Highlights were some of his descriptions of GM products. Rickshaw technology" for the Frontera Sport rear suspension etc."

Looking forward to it myself aswell.Hope they dont blow-up caravans, or fire cars into quarries anymore though. Horse flogged and dead comes to mind.

I agree John, I think some miss the point that TG is about entertainment rather than the definitive giude to cars. Bring back William Woolard.

mmmmmmmmmm Frontera.......what a machine....the famous quote from William Hague to Clarkson....Your the kinda guy that thinks the Lake District gets in the way of the M6!"and Clarkson himself said..."I hate driving, its so bloody mind numbingly boring!""

The race to Switzerland in the 612 was one of the best parts of the last serious IMO.

I don't know Dan, the 612 was beautiful but that Bugatti was something special

Oh yes, when the raced a Cessna 152 (or 172RG cant remember), that Bugatti was awesome. I really like when they tour Europe, you just get a greater appreciation of the cars and its good viewing...like when the took the Ferrari, Zonda and GT down to Milau

They drove sensibly down to Milau and the getting the cars out of the garage scene was quite amusing.
