You've gone and bought an On One 45650B, haven't you? It'll be body armour next...

If by body armour you mean knee warmers then yes I'm all over that shit!

But no I haven't bought a 650b nor will I ever, I was just riding a few Stumpy Evo's and Enduro's in both the 650b and 29er models and it cemented a couple of things in my mind:

A: 29ers are just better, unless you say 'dude' and 'sick' a lot.
B: SRAM make brakes Shimano make gears - n'er the two should be muddled! (X11 gears and XT brakes - gears that shifted like a tractor and brakes that had the grabbing power of cantilevers - *shudder* )

New SLX brakes on my Remedy = f'in awesome*!

Best brakes I have ever used and that includes various Avids, Deore, Hayes, etc.

And I'm ~200lbs so I need some serious stopping power on the scarily steep stuff around here!

I live in Vancouver now so I'm too chilled to fight anyone...

although I am back in the UK next week for a fortnight so who knows?

P.S. I don't suppose anyone is up for a 'for old times sake' get-together ride while I'm there? Would have to be in / driving distance from the South East, mind.
