A full English brekkie should set me up nicely for today's pootle around the lanes of the Fylde - with a promise of a pub lunch too
I have to ride on the roads today, cos my birthday present isn't completely built yet.

It'd need to be as modified as a "Metro" 6R4 for a decent hillclimb

Check the record breaking PIkes Peak run here - if you don't like heights, grab a cushion at about 5 mins in...

    Blimey Stan, old news!

Did you not get the original off us when it first got released? IIRC Mike & I were discussing it at Afan.

Still fekkin mental though in't it, can't believe someone actually went sub 10 mins on it.

No coffee today because the missus bought Sainsbury's Basic coffee, apparently on some cost saving mission.

You can almost taste the floor the grounds were swept up from :-(

I have just got out of bed. I am about to indulge in coffee (proper) and croissants, anyone else?

Can feel my poo knocking on the door already, not even had the coffee yet...

Yes, make me coffee...I have a choice of decaffeinated beans, Basics Ground Something but it's not coffee, or I could venture out to the van and see if there is an 'Emergency' ration of dried coffee.

I'm dying here and I'm on my third earl grey already.

Yup it's expresso time... followed by swapping out shite Bonty stem and bars for thomson/race face items, will bin the nasty XR3 expert tyres at 1st available opportunity. Then as the sun is shining and I have a day off I'm off for a ride.
    * will see if I can actually manage not to muller myself this time out!!

It is. Big air scoop thingy at the front, to keep the front end planted, wing on the back, for back end planting duties, engine fettled to fook+ supercharger ( now at 280bhp - he says " I think I may blow it up on the second run" - he didn't).
He won his class, group and set a new class record........despite 720ing just after he went through the finish!
