Mister Bump wrote (see)Like Chris Hoy does you mean?  Yes, I have ridden at Manchester Velodrome and it is a blast.  You thinking of giving it a crack?Yep, I'm pondering going down to the club in Reading. I've been told to just come along and bring my own pedals (I reckon my old spare V8's should do the trick !)It looks like a good laugh, just wondering if its that much fun in reality.

I think Mike Ayles rides the 'drome in South Wales - Newport?"Indeed i do, it's great fun!turn up to the open sessions, you'll be suprised by a few things1) how easy it is to get speed2) how hard it is to make a lap3) how your legs feel a few days later.I can only reccomend it, also, in a similar vein, give bmx racing a go, increases mtb skills like nowt else/bikes"
