Bit warm up in North Lincolnshire - we've just removed the quilt from it's cover in our hotel room, wonder what the chambermaid will make of that in the morning...

It looks like the hot weather will continue - I can already hear tomorrow's school kids whinging "it's too hot"...
    Me, I love it

  6. #4426
I don't love it as it's fucked up what I thought I needed for Twentyfour twelve.

I need to drink so much extra water it's super daft!

I wouldn't worry, it'll be back to normal by then - cold and raining!

Early indications are that the generally dry and settled weather from the first half of the month could continue across some parts of the UK, most likely in the south. This implies below average rainfall and mainly above average temperatures and above average sunshine amounts. However, late in the month and into August more generally unsettled conditions look increasingly likely.

For TwebtyFour 12 this part seems the most apt :-)

    Properly scorchio here in Oxford.
Went out for a little pootle on Saturday, 45km and I was wrecked, heat was an absolute killer. On the plus side, there is a little noticeable cyclist tan starting to appear - look for the positive

Perfect here as it's not too hot or chilly; between 21-24 for a few days and may drop to 19-20 for a day or so later in the week but warming for the weekend! And dry! Yay!

Going to be boiling in that Yorkshire, shortly. It's The Great Yorkshire Show (starting) today - the contrast with last year's utter washout is stark.

About 24C for our evening ride yesterday, which made the finish at our BBQ on the beach even more enjoyable... hot, sweaty and dusty legs paddled in cooling waves breaking on the shore. Perfect.

But if they're white, that means they haven't been in the sun, and therefore don't need aftersun?

I have slight burnt feet, after discovering I can cycle in sandals.
