    It's destroyed the local trails. First time out on them for many moons and they were a nightmare. Not a lot of miles for an awfully large effort and one of the poor sods I took out for the ride was wiped out with four miles of it.

    FYI, in a heavy down pour most of the water runs off into the drainage system not into the water table. So it may be pissing down for a week and you can still be in a drought.

    We've got flood warnings in the South-West :-/

    I don't suppose all those cnuts that tarmac/flag/pave their front gardens help as all the water goes into the drains and not the ground. I reckon it also contributes flooding...
