why not run a hosepipe all the way from Scotland to England, then everyone would have plenty of water? oh thats right, cant because of the hosepipe ban. :-)

Looks like residents of England are going to have to stop flushing their toilets with drinking water and allowing 50% of the water supply to leak out of the pipes before it even gets to the end user (i made that statistic up, but i remember reading somewhere that its a lot)

That said, i once drank the water from the taps in 'that there London'!!! holy sheet, THAT my friends is NOT drinking water!!! its only good for washing the car with. ;-)

Saturday night ran in the Mighty Deerstalker round Inners and surrounding area. There was a ice on the car when we returned to it. Standing round in wet shorts at -2.5C was a little unpleasant. Was glad of the whisky in my flask!

Sunday was an absolutely brilliant day in the hills! Bright sunshine, and so clear. Suddenly the world looked HD, like we have been in soft focus all winter. Not too windy and trails starting to dry out nicely. Spring not sprung yet, but definitely seemed like a clear and realistic possibility in the very near future.

Now its grey windy and sheet....

Bloody luverly weather we're having at the moment and as luck would have it we're off to spend the week in a house on the beach at West Wittering on Friday to celebrate my wifes (ahem) significant birthday!

Whats the betting we have a great spring and a shite summer again?

Took a 16 mile off road detour on the way home from work. What is this "dry trails" and "fast" nonsense? Seem to remember something similar happening about six months ago...

Beautiful - proper short shorts and a single layer up top.

Flabby belly on display for all to see but hey, sharing is good, right...?

Foggy start but absolutely gorgeous now; still and sunny.

Too nice to be holed-up inside. Might even get two rides in today - supplies run and a short blast in the woods. As soon as the washing machine's done I'm off...

Shorts with knee/leg warmers that can be taken off when it warms up I reckon.

Great idea Alx. Now, where can I get some leg warmers at really short notice?
