more than 50C today. Bit of a wind blowing, so didnt feel as hot as yesterday, which was horrible. Dust isnt so much of a problem and the sunset was rather splendid. Not in Edinburgh, but on another apparently endless work trip to the Islamic fundamentalist desert land of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi today, a pretty brutal sand storm, some cloud, and even a few drops of rain. Still stupidly hot tho. its been a terrible summer! Spring was great, lovely till May. It gave me a false hope that it was going to be nothing but BBQs and hot hot sun, till Autumn. Still there is a few days yet till September. i arrive back in UK around 28th, I expect the weather to be lovely, or else!!!

It was very autumnal this weekend.  very windy and muddy. Although we didnt have floods. So There is now no hope for a hot dusty session in the hills. Summer is gone. lets get some nice crisp sunny Autumn days as compensation.MetCheck has next sunday looking alreet tho.

Has this thread been running long enough to become the climate thread? A pleasant day with 28C forecast for this afternoon.

28 is too warm, unless you want to go swimming all day.

#smug git mode#Well it was quite pleasant in the outdoor pool and out on the trails there was a gentle breeze which made those 28 degrees fell just perfect.
