And here's me thinking you'd completely lost the plot.

Good Luck on Saturday and we'll see you in the pub.

I had to postpone the epic bike ride from the intended Saturday as I got a stomach bug. boo hoo ... So Tue was the day & 6 am I was off on my mountain Bike from Morecambe - Bridlington, reaching Settle 9am, Pateley Bridge 11:30, York 15:30, Had to push on because light was starting to fade fast, got to Driffield at 7 (now dark) had a long stop here waiting for my daughter to bring me my lights, (thanks Sarah) as there was only 18 miles left and I had to finish the ride.
Stats, 174 miles ( with a couple of navigation errors ) (280 Km)
    10990 feet ascent (3350 m)
    41.5mph top speed
    16 hours total time (11mph)
    13 h 15 mins moving time
    Epic fantastic ride

crazy stuff! if I'd done that (not that I could) I'd be resting for a week or so. But seeing as you need to stretch your legs: -

Thur (12th) ride is as suggested from Dog & Gun Ox'hope. 7:30. Expect weather to be as shite as ever, hopefully not blizzards this time.

I'm going to have to dip this week I think - my other half brought us a tiny mountain biker on Monday, three weeks early!

Congratulations Paul, unlike Crasher I'm not going to assume it's a boy

He is a boy (we only found out on Monday though and if he'd been a girl she would still have been a mountain biker) and is 5lbs 9oz so there's every chance I could pop him in my camelback. Might try and make it next week depending on our whereabouts and sleep situation.
