Right back from Scotland for the weekend and struggling to follow whats happening on this thread. Can't get out Sat due to car service, but Sunday could do something local, (Grizedale is great but too many miles, I'm doing enough of them at the moment). I was thinking of the Chevin - Bramhope - Golden Acre run is that what you're on about Jenny?

Mike, I'm actually running that one. Ie: without a bike. Sorry to confuse you, was just giving excuses why I can't do a long bike ride on Sat! I'm training for another marathon. You are still welcome to join me. 14 miles should take about 2hrs 10, about the same as our social pace rides! You could carry the jelly babies!Seriously, I don't think anyone's mentioned a Sunday ride yet, so many are out today. I'm sure you'll get some takers though!

Mike, I was hoping to go to Grizedale but need to be back mid afternoon. Might go to southern dales instead. Either Gargrave or Hellifield with a 10am start. Interested?

Pennine thanks for the offer but I think time/fitness constraints mean I'll do a ride from home Sunday morning. So possibly see some of the runners/walkers on the Chevin tomorrow.

NLMTB Contact List has just gone out. There are a lot of people who won't get it because I don't have an email address for them - if that's how you like it, that's ok; if you want to receive the list, drop me a line at johnhoo AT lineone DOT net - include NLMTB Contact List" in the subject so I don't delete it"

Yes, I was on the exercise bike at that time!In my defence, I was at work, on a 'meal break'. They say exercise is supposed to keep you alert - don't believe it. Night time is for sleeping, not working!I'll be hitting the gym in about an hour's time again, a bit of dumbell chucking-about for 40 mins or so.Anyone riding thursday night this week?

cheers for the Grizedale ride Mr and Mrs Flash. Particularly enjoyed the last third of the ride, Ed. Ta. Was very tired last night. The search continues..........I dunno if it's freeride or whatever lingo...bit of everything, not just XC or DH (!)
