hey Jo yeh see you thursday
tri trig point ride is a hard but fun 30 mile ride (Baildon Ilkly, Chevin) met Madam Muck on route aswell.
I would post it up but!!!! we got stopped over Burly moor by a grumpy old man but then got stopped again by the ranger on that great 1 mile downhill.
the outcome is no mtb east of the 12 opostles

heh heh, grumpy old people who don't want to share the wonderful outdoors with people on bikes. Deary me, it sounds like Kinder Scout in the 1920s.
Does that mean MTBs can roam where they want west of the 12 Apostles? Can't anyone not on a bike see that the Bridleway/ footpath laws are so outdated they are pointless.
In Hereford you can shoot a Welsh person on a Sunday, with a longbow, in the Cathedral Close. That's pointless too, so everyone ignores it.
I went on a long, legal ride in the Lake sall on bridleways and the ruddy park rnagers ahd made them unrideable and un horseable with their repairs, steps and water bars in arge areas. How about, at least, some consistency.
Hope you spologised, pinted out you were doing no harm and less erosion than walkers and Emerdale Farm film crews and then rode off down the hill!

Thanks for last night Crasher, good ride. I was chuffed when I got home. I hope that's due to the already sore legs or the fitness regime is not working too well! The only not sore bit today is the knee that I fell on when I came off??!

Yes Thanks Crasher, enjoyed last nights route. I just need to stop my brain from telling me what will happen if I get it wrong, or perhaps I just need to stop listening to it!
    Enjoy your Dalby trip tomorrow.

following up on the mtb east of the apostles, Im working with the landowner to get permissive rights for cyclists on the dick hudsons path, but they are very sensitive about the bit from the apostles back to menston, but hope we may get chance to discuss that some time in the future.

west of apostles and all the bradford council owned stuff you have the same rights as a walker.
