Must pratice them two difficult sections a bit more. Especially that piece of slab. I really do need to try and avoid going over the handle bars a bit more too! Let me know when you want to ride up at chevin again. Cheers! Dave

ok, Christmas Eve daytime ride starts here, meet 9.20am for a 9.30 start. Probably out no more than 3 hours. Route will be something like St Ives - Altar Lane - Harden Moor - Catstones Moor - Flappit - Black Moor - Manywells - Halls Bridge - Wilsden - Harden - St Ives. Probably no more than 15 miles, but it is hilly round there. All welcome

Never been there before can you give more details? Is it a carpark we meet at? Pub?

public car park in the St Ives estate. There's the Sports Turf Research Institute and a golf club. From Bingley town centre head for Halifax & Harden (turn left opposite the fire station), then over the river, up the hill a bit, then when it starts going down slightly there's an obvious entrance on your right, no more than 1/4 mile after the river. If you get as far as the nursery you've gone too far.ring me on oh-seven-nine-five-six 426124 if you have any problems

5:20am and I'm up feeling sick, dizzy and with a whacking headache. Not drink thats done it! So won't be coming along to Harden today. Sorry guys. Flipping xmas hols and I get struck down by a virus, just my luck!

A few photos of yesterdays ride around Kettlewell & Buckden. Freezing fog covered the dale, which was dense for the first leg, but did clear on dropping into Starbottom. Fantastic temperature inversion on gaining height from Buckden.Kettlewell / Firth FellAh well! back to work
