Seeing as I have a amateur radio licence I have decided to work on an audio system for better transmit audio from the microphone and into the radio.
I made a cheap rack unit and so far have a behringer composer pro 2200 and a TC Helicon.
If there are any audiophiles out there would a DI preamp box work instead of a W2IHY ibox to match the mic levels so I can interface the audio equipment to the radio.
I don't fanncy spending £90 on the ibox if a DI/ mic preamp would work for cheaper.
Use this instead
I have a couple of those leeds Dale, the problem is matching the radio to line levels or something as the audio chips are quite sensitive in HF amatuer gear and could possibly blow the PA amps within the radio.
and I'm finding all my punctures now - was flat yest morn, fixed that but got another flat today.
Yes good ride, still 8 and half miles not bad to say we were repairing punctures for an hour or so or even longer for others :(
Nah, raced again today, feel like I'm getting the hang of it - the more cross and the less cyclo the better I seem to do :) Very muddy with lots of berms that required running today.
It is entirely possible I might get up Saturday.
