Seeing as I have a amateur radio licence I have decided to work on an audio system for better transmit audio from the microphone and into the radio.
I made a cheap rack unit and so far have a behringer composer pro 2200 and a TC Helicon.
If there are any audiophiles out there would a DI preamp box work instead of a W2IHY ibox to match the mic levels so I can interface the audio equipment to the radio.
I don't fanncy spending £90 on the ibox if a DI/ mic preamp would work for cheaper.
Use this instead
I have a couple of those leeds Dale, the problem is matching the radio to line levels or something as the audio chips are quite sensitive in HF amatuer gear and could possibly blow the PA amps within the radio.
The only free drinks will be the ones bought for me. 2 day bash? Christ, I'l be tucked up in bed, snoring, by 10pm.
If ther's free drinks I can do Thursday as well, is it a 2 day bash ?
I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. It's almost as if i've sustained a heavy blow to the head...
Also, you are BHB and I claim my £5 - what have you done with Alx, you ba5tard?
