FAO Yorkshire Types - t'Tour info required

    alright proles,

Back after working so hard recently, that I'm lucky my tackle are still attached.

so, I'm coming doon to that there Yorkshire to watch le Tour.

What's the story from you local types in terms of accom etc ? Heard a few stories.

My plan was to arrive on Sat night, drive up a big hill somewhere on route, camp over by the side of the road, and watch on Sunday like they does in on tha continent. Mrs G thinks that's not a good plan.

Who is right and what are yous doing ?

Cost involved ? Or can I just turn up and pitch my tent.

Being North of T'border - I'm used to sleeping where I like to a certain degree, but don't want to angry Farmer Palmer types on my case.
