Oh FFS, do we really have to 'explain' banter now?

As has been discussed previously, there was a rumour circulating that the bike industry never wanted 29ers but used the hype/novelty to convince the world that a different wheel size shouldn't be dismissed. Their end game was to get to 650b being the 'standard' by virtue of it being the best compromise between the two views being argued on t'interwebs. By virtue of the fact that the overwhelming majority of mtbs on the planet have 26" wheels, if 650b becomes the new norm then it's most likely the 29er will be the loser.

Well I had it at 180psi, max PP as at Peaslake, perhaps I should stick it to 200 as they advise. Maybe they do know what they are talking about...

Or to get back OT, I should follow OldNicks route. But perhaps not, I'm not sure if I'm cut out for racing yet, :-/
