    Get me riding again

Hardly ridden all year, and now see running routes rather the mtb lines on the hills around me. Infrequent commute the only time I get out.

So, inspire/provoke/threaten/charm/advise me to get out riding again ?

Do I, ahem, need - after 10+ years to be thinking about a new bike ?

Can actually afford it now as well which is nice.

Yes I may well (use some post GSCE design skill, remove the Unicycle as I am not a clown) print one off and post it in the kitchen.

winter is not really the time to try and find some enthusiasm for riding your bike.

but think of the fun riding through puddles!

Gav I'm in the same boat, my 10 yr old daughter has done more miles than me in the last two months. However I have invested in some new kit including lights and now my marathon is done asnd dusted I can't wait to get out and ride.
I'm going back to basics this winter, local MTB rides short and hard while the weather is crap, ready to extend when the daylight comes back.
Maybe looking at the transwales or wahtever it's called now...

That's only if you want to be the best and you want to beat the rest.

Folk that ride with you tend to end up injured or ruined, sometimes both.

That is a risk, I cannot deny that death is a possibility. Though I am qualified in first aid and have my mountain leader awards.
