Keeping a car clean with a mountain bike...

My cars have always been cheaper than my bikes, land rovers, stupid modified junk heaps or van. Generally speaking I really don't tend to give monkeys about what cars look like.

However, this daft ass insurance company has given me a 6 month old 6speed Focus courtesy car which is spotless. So it needs to stay that way so I get my deposit back.

How do the immaculate types keep cars clean is it just blankets and wiping your feet before you get in them and stuff? this doesn't even have those carpet things in the bottom...actually I might actually go and cut a bit of carpet off to put under the pedals.

nip down to a garage as ask them for a seat cover and foot rest insert they have plastic / paper ones to keep the cars clean from the mechanics,
As for the back, if you are carrying bikes whoch are muddy, seats down and cover with a dust sheet, then another dust sheet, bike in and fold dust sheet over bike, that way you can remove bike folded in dust sheet and keep mud from the car.

Big plastic dust sheet in the back, that covers everything. I keep a set of old but clean clothes in a bag and perform the post ride carpark striptease before driving home. Dirty clothes and shoes in a bin bag. Works a treat.

Nomad portable washer to clean the bike then sling the bike on the roof. Get changed into trackies and different trainers before u drive off and put the dirty stuff in a big blue IKEA bag which u can stand in/on too

I doubt you'll keep your car clean using a mountain bike TBH. Have you considered using the usual cleaning products...
