I also managed to force myself out last night, after half an hour of mind battles with myself (it'll be too cold, dangerous ice, too late etc etc). Very glad that I did, although it was indeed, frukin cold.

yep fingers struggled with the cold. but i went up the hills fast with a flashing indicator telling me my light would fail at any moment.

The threat of death made the ride home at dusk one of my fastest last year too!
Very motivating, maybe that's the secret?There is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate tyres
