After taking on the banks with their missold PPI I have money burning a hole in my pocket, I want to buy everything and anything :-)
    Fridge Freezer
    Garmin
    Bike
    Forks
    Brakes
    Wheels
    Groupset
    Laptop
FFS the list goes on, but I'm a tight arse so so far have bought a Duotrap for the missus' Madone, no speedo mind.

Get a Garmin. Get some brakes (give your old ones to MGO). Get a laptop (|Macbook).

Isn't it customary for men of your vintage to go out and buy a Goldwing?

Statistically speaking they are the slowest colour of tyre.

Apparently I think it was an Australian Sports Science research paper if you see flashes of red in front of you when riding you ride quicker, seeing blue or yellow slows you down but red and greens speed you up...

Let me do a google dig and find the paper

Edit: It may have been Canadians...can't find the direct link, I'll have to find the Cycling Weekly it was in.

Haven't you seen his graphic in the Roadie thread? If he can miss a corner that dramatically at 5mph, his eyesight won't be good enough to see the colour of his side walls (or all the people pointing and laughing)
