Giro D'Italia Thread (may contain spoilers)

Just caught up with the first few stages having been away for a few days - looks like it's already buildig up to be a classic.

Today's crash was pretty scary too - WTF did Roberto Ferrari think he was doing?!

Apparently he's been relegated to last place - not sure how true that is. Looked nasty that, see the (liquigas?) guy bunny hop Cav?

How half a dozen of 'em didn't nail him is beyond me but yeah, the bunny hop was cool.

Others, including Cav, have been thrown out of races for less.

Nice skills and fast reactions from Mr Liquigaz - Cav owes you a pint!
Ferrari needs to man up and admit he screwed up and apologise. As it stands I think he will find an unusual number of bidons being cast under his wheels and probably end up boxed in tightly at the remainder of the sprints in this tour till he does...

It's almost laughable that his team have apologised to Cav & everyone else involved on his behalf yet he still holds that it was fcuk all to do with him :-/

Just watching an interview with Taylor Phinney - he has a very streamlined/areo looking face, could be worth a second or two, no wonder he's such a good time triallist.

Not always a good thing - imagine having a big nose in a crosswind.... :-/ The motorists don't like it when I "tack" across the road....

Good point, well made, I guess it depends on conditions. In general though, I reckon he's got the edge, face wise.

Great finish by Rodriguez - that narrow climb at the end really broke the peleton up.
