Thread: Disc Brakes

Right workmate wants his bike fixing, its got Tektro disc brakes on which don't work.
I'm not even going to attempt repairing them.
So anyone got some semi decent brakes they don't want at a reasonable price ?Logical

J3's are 100% perfectly good brakes twin piston, just no adjustment and single bolt on the level.

They don't have great rep but they're cheap. I've been running a set on my work bike for 3 or 4 years without any issues.Norbert Dangerousangle

I've no idea what they're worth - but I have rotors too

They work fine, and still have quite good pads in them. I guess ebay is a good place to look for what they sell for, but obviously "mates rates" will apply
