    45/45 45/36 Integrated headsets????

    long story cut short...

New bike, need headset...the frame builder said that it was a 45/45 headset...I measure the frame it's about 41 and bit diamter I buy a 41.8mm 45/45 headset (Campag Standard)...it's way too tight.

Find out there is a 41mm standard but this is most 41mm 36/45

So if anybody understands this angular contact bearing engineering shite can you just let me know what headset I can buy please :-)

Bearings are weird the internal diameter is for a 1 1/8th but the outer is for a 41mm :-)

(Thanks for the PDF thats saved for future reference)

Anyway I spoke to another bod at the frame place and he now says 41/36 with be ok.

Might benefit a bearing seating compound if there is some slop between cup and bearing.

I take it that's something like copper grease?
