    Endura Stealth - Alternatives?

After 5 winters my stealth longs have finally given up the ghost & need replacing.

Any other waterproof/breathable longs I should consider?

I've been looking around for a pair as well. I have some lusso max repel jobs which were water resistant to start but have lost that now, and some gore windstopper ones which are good at stopping some rain and the wind but due to the fabric aren't as stretchy/comfortable. Might look at the castelli nanoflex stuff (although they wouldn't be as good at holding off proper sustained rain like the stealths). Or might just get some stealths (probably the lite version).

We're talking about bib tights here, right Nobby? Not baggy trousers? I mostly wear road cycling brand tights on the mtb (underneath baggies)

*2 - replaced my Humvees with identical Humvees due to their quality. Only replaced them - after 5+years and worn basically all the time in summer - as zips were going. Endura stuff is the toughest wearing stuff I've come across.

Right, the Amfibs got their first real test yesterday.

The fit & quality is great and there are nice touches such as zip covers and a small extension which covers the top of your shoe. I was concerened that the rear of the knee section is made from their normal softshell material but this turned out to be fine in the deluge as very little rain/spray gets there.

They held out really well but the backside eventually started to wet through after about 45 mins - this was in continuous rainfall (apart from the hail!) and not that different to my old stealths.

    Pretty pleased overall.
