Wanted: Retro Road Brake Levers...for money or services.

Does anybody have a pair of brake levers they want to sell?

By brake levers I do mean just that, I don't need modern flappy paddle gear ones...They can be a pair of skanky ones in fact that's probably "cool" as the chain of road bikes has been bumped down the line with a new addition and I will have a Frame Spare to build up a F**ie which these levers are for.

Oh and if anyone has a Rivetted Leather Saddle...I could be interested in that, depending of course how much you wanted!

I would offer sensual and discreet massage. However, I just bought a Second Hand pair of Shimano R600's from the bikeshop for 15

*Gulps* Does this mean I'm in for a kicking for binning some Weinmann levers that we took off MGO's 1980's Pug when we converted it to *gulps again* a fixie?

    Arse...

I had hoped to recycle a Race Face cransket on the "F**ie" turnous however, it will not work.

I have a Square Taper BB which fits...so does anyone have an old Squre Taper crankset or cranks I could purchase...swap for a drawing?

We're currently flogging a lot of crap via ebay...in fact the missus is getting in to what I consider the morally ambiguous territory of buying items at a charity shop and selling them on at a quite inflated price. For example a GAP babygro bought at 0.25p sold for over 4...she's now making me list things which I classify as "could be useful one day".

Like for instance a Paraffin blow torch...you never know like.

Just out of interest do you know if he declares it as a Tax Liabilty...(I'm not casting aspersions regarding how dull your family conversation may be)

Most people do not, but it is taxable, same as money made from car boot sales, selling bike parts, renting out a garage / driveway.
it can all be classed as non income taxable earnings.
but as few people do self assesment tax forms its not really a problem.

That is near enough what I said to her...though when you have a baby you do have a huge amount of baby clothes you don't use again and want to sell so it then becomes a little greyer.

basically personal items are fine as you ave already paid TAX on them, we have a garage sale on the 12th 2 kids worth of stuff up to the age of 18 months, i have almost filled the garage but the attic is much larger now.
