I too was amazed. But apparantly thats why I getting an aching crotch, as I'm sitting on my perenium.

I have had a kid don't you know.....

Edit: This may explain why I have a 36" waist, despite appearing skinny, wide hip bones.....

    Child bearing?

Took me ages & a lot of research/sitting on saddles to get something I'm comfy with all day.

Remains to be seen how I get on with the roadie but am already looking at a variation of my mtb one for it.

I measured up to the yellow but felt the wider Affinity saddle was far more comfortable than the yellow, which felt like it was slightly pushing on the inside of the sit bones.

Anyway - Hayes hydraulics (12 years old) available at this end, the rear requiring a new piston as the pad-retaining bit has snapped off. Loads of other bits and pieces should you need them to finish off the build...

I measured up "wide" on the Spesh arse-ometer, when I got the Phenom. Odd, really, as the laydeez have always said I have a cute butt.
Re. Stan's 36" waist - atm I'm 35" but that's cos I'm fat! Waist measurement has nowt to do with the size of your arse. In peak condition, I usually measure up as 32/33".

Hans - thanks for the offer. I'll let you know once things start come together.

Erm, as above. The rear mech and shifter is probably highest on the list as he's figuring on running 1 x 9.

Front brake at this end, Greendude. Not sure of rotor size but it was fully functional when I removed it. Hayes, IIRC. 6 bolt.

I'll turn on my PM function for a few days...

Well, I've picked up the frame for him and the bloke threw in a seatpost, saddle AND a singlespeed rear wheel with a 16t sprocket (Mavic 317 on a DT Swiss singlespeed hub). He's a spawny little bar5teward, for sure.

I assume you don't require that front brake? As I mentioned, one of the pistons appears to be slightly sticky but it'll probably be okay after a few pulls. Bit of external corrosion but nothing that would affect the performance, I suspect.
