My dad bought my mum a set of Le Crueset about 25 yrs ago. She still has the set. But, she went mad because it was Christmas day. Personally I thought she was an ungrateful bitch. I might tell her when I see her next.

I'd like to seeing squished hail. Is it like running over frogs?

It was like having thousands of 1" diameter snowballs fired at you - surreal.

I retract my previous comment on this thread, today was crazy, flash floods, not pleasant. Exciting though

Went out for a little spin on the road bike, dry and cool, spitting rain, proper rain and cold (with added steaming roads for dramatic effect), sunny again and warm, overcast and cold, heavy rain to finish.

All in an hour and a half, how is boy to know what to wear?

For a journalist I would've thought you could get your terminology correct, David. The word's wank not crazy.

    Wank weather!

And I agree with Sniper - we already have a weather thread which has suffered in the wake of this travesty.
