Crikey, that's unfortunate for them, and lucky for me, that's where I got my groupset from last week.

Indeed, a close call and might explain the low price.

    *wipes brow*

Congrats DM - nice bit of pocket money...

I was going to buy some new wider bars. However, after using maths to discover the leverage ratio of the bar/stem combo I would buy will be the same as the ones I have, I'm not bothering.

I would love some lightweight wheels and some new brakes for the MTB, just can't afford it yet, most frustrating having to save up.

I'm in the market for a duotrap sensor and a Bonty speedo/cadence jobbie. That will go on the Missus' bike I'll rob her cateye sensor then to replace the broken one on my winter bike.
Summer bike needs a Garmin or some such fandango device no idea what to get.

Think I'll have to upgrade my broken saddle to an unbroken one - I'm getting fed up with swapping the remaining saddle from one bike to another

Same wheels here on the Enigma. Very light and seem to get up to speed quickly, as well as coping with my cumbersome efforts.

Heard bad things about American Classics, plus they're rather vulgar imo. I'm going for some nice DT rims on XTR hubs, know a nice chap that will build them up for me too.

The only thing I was aware of was the life of the freehub could be short in extreme conditions. However, Mudpup has been using them for I think two years now, unmaintained AFAIK and through some pretty serious shite with no issues whatsoever.

I doubt that they'd last that long in the claggy, gritty, hub destroying shite of the NY moors tbh.

It gets pretty serious around our way Karlos, some of the worst continuous mud/clag in the SE. Its known for it.

Tomorrow though I shall be zooming through the trees on the dustry trails like Skywalker on steriods
